Meet the friendly veterinarians at Animal Health Center:

  • Dr.
    Carmen Saladino

    Dr. Carmen Saladino received her D.V.M. from University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing in the Tampa area for 24 years! She is married with two children, but her family also includes three cats and a dog. In her free time, she enjoys photography and spending time with her family.

  • Dr.
    Cameran Elmore

    Dr. Cameran Elmore (Brooks) earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in 2006, and graduated with her D.V.M. from University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2015. She has four dogs, two horses, and a cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and being at the family ranch with her horses.

  • Dr. Alexis Deriberprey

    Dr. Alexis Deriberprey earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Florida in 2017, and graduated with her Doctorate from University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2021. Her and her high school sweetheart are married and share a dog named Hero. She has recently moved back to the Tampa area and enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.

  • Dr. Sharonda Washington-Robinson

    Dr. Sharonda Washington-Robinson grew up as an only child in Anderson, SC. While growing up, she often told people that her pets were her siblings. Dr. Washington-Robinson knew, even from a young age, that animals had a special place in her heart.

    In 2016, Dr. Washington-Robinson completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). During her tenure at FAMU, she expanded her experience with animals through internships at the university’s farm and working as a kennel technician. Prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. Washington-Robinson worked as a veterinary assistant at Beltway Animal Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.

    While attending the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (UF), Dr. Washington-Robinson served in various leadership roles. She was President of the Veterinary Business Management Association and Vice President of the Diversity and Inclusion Veterinary Association. Dr. Washington-Robinson advocated for diversity in the veterinarian profession through outreach and increased access to mentorship opportunities.

    Dr. Washington-Robinson graduated from UF in May 2021 and started her career in Louisville, KY. She worked as an Associate Veterinarian at VCA Shelden where she found a love for Fear Free. Her professional interest includes preventative wellness, soft tissue surgery, and diversity and inclusion. Dr. Washington- Robinson looks forward to building long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

    In her free time, Dr. Washington-Robinson enjoys spending quality time with her husband, reading, and practicing yoga. She is the proud 'cat mom' of her two cats, Denver and Benji.
